We will launch Forge in closed beta on the 1st of February. The beta will be for developers and invited NFT artists to begin trying out the Forge platform and to start integrating Forge into their projects. We have already received a great deal of interest from game developers and NFT artists regarding our platform. We are confident that by the time we reach the full launch, we will already have game devs and artists actively using Forge. The beta platform will be fully functional and will include the following key elements:
1) Web wallet for developers and users to hold NEBL, any NTP1 token and of course Forge NFTs.
2) NFT minting portal allowing for the creation of NFTs.
3) NFT marketplace allowing for the buying and selling of Forge NFTs.
4) Forge Unity SDK for easy integration of Forge into Unity games and apps.
To compliment the launch we will be holding a 1 month Buildathon kicking off on the 1st of February! Prizes will be announced soon. Entrants will be given access to documentation and examples, and the Forge team will be available throughout the Buildathon to offer assistance where needed. The final UI for the platform and the Forge website will drop during Q1 2021 following the beta period. On the run up to the full launch we will publish a full road map (lots of things in the works), as well as details regarding a Forge token sale and the full utility of the Forge token.
We have been getting some great feedback so far from the awesome crypto/NFT art community and we are hearing them regarding high fees, network congestion and slow transfer speeds, that is proving to be costly and annoying. We believe we will have a great solution for artists, game developers, gamers and buyers of NFTs, looking for a low cost, easy to use platform.
